Bewitched: Isabelle is a witch, living in the San Fernando Valley, and trying to not use her supernatural powers. She finds herself being wooed by actor Jack Watt to play the role of Samantha the witch in a remake of the old 1960’s sitcom Bewitched. What a strange twist of fate.

Alias Betty: So-so tirade-thriller charting the corkscrewing occurrences that happen while a little boy dies in a mishap and his spiritually disconnected nana abducts another youngster to take his place. Opening scenes are fascinating, although tale weighs down as it gets engaged with too numerous irrelevant characters. Cast includes Sandrine Kiberlain, Nicple Garcia, Mathilde Seigner, Fortune Mervil, Edouard Baer, and Stephane Freiss. (101 minutes, 2001)

La Salamandre: Reporter Bideau and author Denis analysis truths behind the case of bizarre Ogier, implicated by her uncle of tried murder. Cast includes Bulle Ogier, Jean-Luc Bideau, and Jacques Denis. Easy, ludicrous evaluation of reality: (125 minutes, 1971)

1408: Mike Enslin makes his living debunking the paranormal. His next project is room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel. The manager does everything in his power to stop Mr. Enslin from staying in 1408, but to no avail. Mr. Enslin will soon see why 1408 has been closed for years.

They Only Kill Their Masters: Incredible cast in difficult modem-night whodunit set in coastal California town; tries for Daniel Hammett sensation, doesn’t relatively make it. Cop Garner tries to solve slaughter of pregnant female, with formidable Doberman pinscher computing prominently. Not poor, however a disappointment. Cast includes James Garner, Katharine Ross, Hal Holbrook, Harry Guardino, June Allyson, Peter Lawford, and Ann Rutherford. (97 minutes, 1972)
