One of the first things to do when studying how to play the guitar is to know the notes. Learning guitar notes can be challenging, it takes time and dedication. On a guitar they are played on the fret board. You should not fear the fret board. Even if learning guitar notes can seem tough, you do not have to be discouraged, this is an essential step in studying how to perform the guitar

Performing the very first melodies on your guitar will be easier if you identify the notes on the first guitar string. The first string offers 3 notes, E, F (first fret), and G (third fret). For a long time we have used the video store as one of our main ways to access movies. Now, with internet usage exploding, movie downloads are becoming very popular. Here are some examples of movies you can acquire through a movie download site.

Sing, You Sinners: Wagering gay-blade Crosby couldn’t face accountability, regardless of jabbing his sibling MacMurray. Cast includes Wesley Ruggles, Bing Crosby, Fred MacMurray, Donald O’Connor, Elizabeth Patterson, Ellen Drew, and John Gallaudet. (88 minutes, 1938)

Batman And Robin: The villain Mr. Freeze is trying to take over Gotham City, by freezing the town into submission. With the beautiful villain Poison Ivy trying to form a rift between Batman and Robin, the duo has a lot to deal with. As always they somehow find a way to come out on top.

Committed: Youthful N.Y.C. club supervisor believes in pledge at work and in her matrimony albeit she’s enclosed by stoner buddies, so she’s thrown for a loop while her husband Wilson bolts to “find him-self.” Graham is the entire show here, although she’s adhered in a lightweight street-film/lifestyle-conflict story. If this is screwball romance for the new millennium, we’re in trouble. Cast includes Heather Graham, Casey Affleck, Luke Wilson, Goran Visnjic, Alfonso Arau, Mary Kay Place, Dylan Baker, and Carlin Glynn. (98 minutes, 2000)

Goldeneye: In this 007 adventure Pierce Bronson plays the part of James Bond. The codes to a newly developed space weapon Goldeneye have been stolen. Bond heads to Russia, in search of the lost codes. His adversaries turn out to be former agent 006, Alec Trevelyan, along with Xenia Onatopp, a deadly assassin. 007 will need all his skills, as he travels from Russia, to the jungles of Cuba to recover the codes, and keep Goldeneye out of evil hands.

Candyman: Helen Lyle is a University of Illinois student looking for ideas for her thesis on urban legends.. She becomes interested in the Candyman legend. Candyman was a son of slaves who died at the hand of a hired gang sent to kill him because he got a girl pregnant. They set angry bees loose on him, and then was burnt to death. The legend states that if you say his name 5 times in front of a mirror, Candyman comes to life. Candyman does appear, and Helen finds herself in big trouble.

Remember, be creative and use phrases like “Rent DVD Movie Online”. If the first search proves ineffective type in something different. You should punch in “Movie Dowloads” for another set of results.

Opera Glasses- A Closer Look

The invention of opera glasses was a godsend for many theater goers. It was becoming increasingly difficult for theater-goers in the 1800’s to view what was happening on stage. Theaters were growing increasingly large and seats in or near the front row were very expensive. The Paris Opera House, for example, was finished in 1875 and featured 2200 seats. It was a massive building at the time.

Opera was also an important social event. People attending the opera wanted to be able to see and be seen and often spent time scanning the audience as well. To do this, they needed a simple and convenient magnifying device. Opera glasses were the perfect solution.

Opera glasses quickly became more than just ways to see the stage. A night at the opera was simply more than just an evening out. People came to the opera to be seen, and to make important social connections. It was critical to be able to see who was sitting with whom and what people were doing during the performance. Many people spent more of the evening scanning the audience than they did watching the drama onstage.

Because they rapidly became status symbols and signs of wealth, opera glasses rapidly became very ornamented. They were often made of valuable materials and featured gold, painted enamel and expensive inlay work. There were different styles of opera glasses. They ranged from the familiar lorgnette version with one handle to a compact folding version that would fit will into a handbag or a pocket.

Modern opera glasses are much the same as they were in the beginning. They still come in several different models. Opera glasses are still popular as well. They are not hard to find but it may take a bit of looking on your part. You should start your search in stores which sell binoculars. A camera store may have some or they may be able to order them for you.

One thing to look at when selecting your opera glasses is what the level of magnification is. Unlike a telescope or high powered binoculars, you will want to make sure that there is a fairly low level of magnification. A 3x magnification factor is considered ideal. This allows you to get a large field of view and it will keep shaking from hand movement as low as possible.

Once you know what your options are you can decide what style you are interested in. They still come in folding and lorgnette styles. There are compact models which will fold down into plastic cases which can make them more durable for outside use. This could be handy at an outdoor concert or at a rock concert where you may accidentally drop them.

If you are someone who wants to view theatre performances but are not able to pay high prices for your tickets, then opera glasses might be a good solution for you. It will allow you to feel in touch with the past and still enjoy the fine details of modern performances from anywhere in the theater.

A Review of Shear Madness the Comedic Mystery with Opera Glasses

Chances are, you have heard of Shear Madness, perhaps from a friend, or relative, and are considering attending a performance. My recommendation is that you should not attend, unless you would like to feel physical pain, and suffering from extreme laughter. However if you feel like you cheek and stomach muscles are in healthy enough shape, you may be able to endure this marathon of laughter. Opera glasses are very necessary for a performance of this type.

The stage is set to take place at a unisex hair salon. The usual gossip takes place. As in real life, for some reason, people seem to think they need to share their utmost secrets with their hairdresser. So many funny lines take place as well as an intriguing storyline. The people acting are extremely believable characters. You have the snapping gum pretty hairdresser with a gorgeous figure who is an airhead, the brightly colored clothing character played by the homosexual hairdresser (fabulously played by John McGivern in Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I attended), a high class society woman, policemen and the different clientele that comes in. Of course, one man is a hunk which makes John McGivern’s character giggle with glee.

One thing that should be explained about Shear Madness is that much of this play is not scripted, but rather is performed in an improvisation. Much of what is discussed in the play; revolve around current events in the city and in the world. At times this improvisation is so funny that the actors themselves cannot contain their laughter, which of course makes the audience laugh harder. To ensure that you catch every slip up you will want to bring your opera glasses.

Unexpectedly during the play one of the actors will speak directly to a person or people in the audience to ask for opinions. You may even find yourself yelling out the answers. You must understand that you answer may vary from your neighbors, which adds an exciting new element to this wonderful performance. I do advise you to be careful if you find yourself in the first two or three rows, as you may become the topic of one of the jokes, remember though this is all in good humor.

Besides running a beauty salon and all of the gossip that it entails, Shear Madness’ plot pertains to a murder. The person murdered is the owner of the salon. The owner lived upstairs of the salon before she was murdered. As a member of the audience you are enthralled trying to figure out who the murderer is. Looking back at the play, each character in the play could possibly be the correct killer. You will find yourself squinting your eyes and eyebrows and scratching your head trying to figure out who committed the murder. Use your Opera glasses often to help you choose who the guilty murderer is.

What makes this comedy play different than any other play is that the guilty murderer is different each time. The characters in the play will talk to the audience and ask them questions. The audience actually votes and chooses who the murderer is. As odd as this may sound, it is really a very clever concept. Some people even see this play more than once and usually see a different ending.

The play Shear Madness is actually one of the longest running non musical plays being attended today. Many very popular critics such as The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and reviewed this play, and have written wonderful things about it. There is no doubt you too will love this play, and want to see it again and again.

You will want to bring your Opera glasses as you will not want to miss one entertaining moment of Shear Madness. Opera glasses will ensure that you will capture each and every laugh.
